FABB guest composer Ludovic Neuhror discusses his new work commissioned by FABB ‘Spells of a Deep Forest’ and other recent major commissions with emphasis on the creative vein and the evolving process of originality in composition.

The forum will also address the impact of the computer as a virtual compositional tool and its impact on the composers own creative process.

PART 2: “Performance, Premiere & the Publishing Process”
ABC Forum Guest – British Music Publisher David Horsfield, Kirklees Music

Well respected band musician, adjudicator and publisher David Horsfield leads Part 2 of the ABC forum which will discuss key issues associated with the interactive process between composer, performance premiere & the publishing domain.

This forum will address issues of significance associated with successfully integrating the components necessary to promote and enhance the recognition of young and aspiring composers and their musical canvas.

PART 3: Self Analysis and Informed Intuition

The ABC Conductors forum, presented by FABB’s Music Advisor Professor David King, will take an inner look at the plurality of ‘role-play’ assumed by the conductor and the relationship between the cerebral and emotional capacity to create a ‘sense of performance’.

The forum will discuss the inseparable sensory domain and in particular the relationship between ‘seeing the score and hearing the music’.
